I am excited for the upcoming New Year, filled with positivity, hope, and potential:
We have our 1st shipment of samples arriving in several weeks, and am eager to see the quality and the message.
We currently have an Indiegogo campaign going, and although not that successful yet, am excited to have taken that step to begin to get the word out and raise awareness.
We have a new Instagram page that is steadily connecting with the new generation of American soccer players, and the bright, bright, BRIGHT future our young USMNT has!
That being said, I am mindful of the ongoing challenges and issues in our beautiful world. My hope for the New Year is to connect with youth soccer clubs across America, and to work together to raise awareness at the grass-roots level in a visible and meaningful way. For every club we are able to collaborate with for a joint fundraiser, the scale and scope of the KICK OUT RACISM TM and the Diversity Makes The World Go 'Round TM messages will expand dramatically: Imagine a youth club with 1,000+ players all training and playing games with our soccer balls throughout the year, delivering the important message to 1,000's of people on an ongoing and impactful basis. That's the primary goal (pun intended) of these efforts: Raising awareness at a grass-roots level.
Linked here is a news article from GQ Magazine from January, 2020, that give more insight into the issue, and more credibility to the understanding that YES this is a REAL ISSUE in the world today. To varying degrees it is certainly occurring on the very same pitch you use for your training or games, some incidents more overt and obvious than others.
